Upset Stomach
An upset stomach is a feeling of nausea or indigestion from many sources. You can have an upset stomach because of something you ate, stress, motion sickness, or an illness such as the flu.
One of the most common causes of an upset stomach is eating or drinking too much food and being overly full. This can cause nausea, heartburn, bloating, belching, and a general feeling of unease in your stomach.
Because there are so many different causes and symptoms, it is difficult to identify a single natural remedy that covers everything. It might be necessary to try several treatments before you find one that works for you every time you have an upset stomach.
An upset stomach or nausea can often lead to vomiting and diarrhea. When it does, the cause of the upset stomach is often a case of either mild to severe food poisoning or viral infection or illness.
If you have a fever and the upset stomach continues for several days, you should consult your doctor. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids, so you don’t get dehydrated if you have diarrhea or are vomiting.
